Sketchup Installation and RunUp

If you haven't recently, do a Windows System Restore Point (it's the safe thing to do!)


Download and Install Sketchup

Check the system requirements   -   http://sketchup.google.com/download/gsu.html

Download the Google Sketchup free version software   -   http://sketchup.google.com/download/gsu.html

Installation is very quick and simple, should take less than 5 minutes.

Stop the video and rewind it to re-do the scary bits, and you'll quickly develop some confidence in your Sketchup skills.

Now you know what it takes to create models for the Steamboat 3D project. Easy, huh? There are a few more techniques to learn and refine, but these are the basics.

If you continue, you'll be developing the skills to be a 3D modeler yourself, and contribute your own work to the 3D Warehouse.
